Knucklehead Tips Teaching in China Part 1
You should know that when you write an article like this, giving advice on what should or should not do or know, that probably has committed all errors in the first place. I am no different.
So before you go, or having a teacher use to do some things.
I say this because often found some information on some companies such sites, and even the people running the company, employees current or past. If you find one or two negative comments, employees deposed unfortunate, but if you find more, so they do not engage in the business. I guarantee you will fall into the same fate as others.
There are differences of teaching in universities, schools, colleges or primary schools.
I tell you are trying to use outside the University. Let me explain something. Every time a foreign teacher is offered course, enrollment is higher for the student. You do not see this, your employer puts in his pocket, and you pay less than the rate of progress. For example: You teach a class, which paid 100 RMB per hour as a teacher teaching Chinese in another room. The employer charges 400 RMB per student in his class, and 200 for the other class. Get it? You're the goods.
So if you teach at a university and your employer wants to teach abroad in another school, someone to make extra money outside of work …. but not you. Try to negotiate something before signing the contract with the University.
It is always advisable to try to communicate with someone who has taught at the school before you, or use social networking sites to find people in the city in particular.
